Mission Statement: Our mission is to build men's faith, relationships and ministry, through resources we obtain, events we produce and ongoing leadership development. Create atmosphere of support, encouragement and prayer for the Pastor's on staff that is driven by Men's Ministry


Vision: The Men of Northside Baptist Church will consistently honor the Lord Jesus Christ in ALL areas of their lives.

OBJECTIVES OF MEN"S MINISTRY

  • To reach and develop the Men of Northside Baptist Church
  • To encourage them to be authentic men of action
  • To partner with the Coweta County community and/other like-minded churches/organizations in assessing needs (e.g. Construction, Yard work, Donation of goods, Evangelism, Teaching and prayer)
  • Reach out to families in the community with the Gospel
  • Men lead their families in worship
  • Explore the Word of God in study
  • Help hold other men accountable to God's standards


ACTIVITIES

  • Men's Ministry Council (plan and direct events and activities under the guidance of the Pastors)
  • Discipleship
  • The Great Commission
  • Camping Trip and Retreats (usually April/May of each year)
  • Gridiron Men's Conference (annually in June in Huntsville, AL)
  • We support Northside events: Fall Festival, Chili Cookoff and Hayrides
  • Monthly Men's Breakfast (3rd Saturday at 8am when UPWARD is NOT in session and 7:30am when UPWARD is in session).
  • Small Group Discipleship
  • Wednesday Night Bible Studies (3 different times during the church calendar for an 8-week series)


  • As of July 2025, and after four years, we completed the "Wretched Worldview" series by Todd Friel. We completed 48 training sessions on various topics.
  • November 2025: We are beginning a 10-month journey with small groups in "The Titus Ten" study (Foundations for Godly Manhood) by J. Josh Smith.
